Can I transfer my rebates to my trading account?

Confirms that rebate-to-trading transfers are allowed one-way only (trading-to-rebate is not), and explains why, since rebate accounts cannot be deposited into.

You can transfer funds from your rebate account to your trading account, but not the other way around.

Which transfers are allowed?

  • Rebate account to trading account: allowed.

  • Trading account to rebate account: not allowed.

This is because a rebate account only receives rebate payments - you cannot deposit into it, and there is no Return to Source (RTS) rule on rebate funds. Once rebates are in your trading account, you can trade with them or withdraw them like normal trading funds.
