Do I need to complete verification again if I am both a trader and a partner?

Explains the two verification types, that a verified trader becoming a partner does not re-verify, and that a partner opening a trading account must complete trader verification. Flags the current re-verification bug.

Axi now uses two different types of verification, depending on how you use your account:

  • Partner verification: a lighter check that involves identity (ID) verification only.

  • Trader verification: a more detailed check required to open and fund a trading account.

I was already a verified trader, and I want to become a partner

You do not need to complete verification again. Your existing trader verification is recognised to become a new partner.

I am a verified partner, and I want to open a new trading account

You will need to complete the trader verification, because partner verification does not include everything a trading account requires.
