Perpetual futures provide synthetic exposure to the price of an underlying asset and do not give you ownership of, or rights associated with, the underlying asset.
Dividends: Perpetual futures do not entitle you to receive dividends or other distributions from the underlying asset. However, the market price of a perpetual future may be affected by dividend-related price movements in the underlying market.
Corporate actions: Corporate actions affecting the underlying asset, such as stock splits, mergers or other events, may result in adjustments to the relevant perpetual futures contract. The adjustment may affect the contract price, size, specifications, symbol, margin requirements or trading conditions. The treatment of each corporate action depends on the applicable product terms and may vary by instrument. Refer to the applicable Product Schedule and legal documents for the relevant details.
Settlement currency: Crypto and TradiFi perpetual futures are settled in USD, or the client's fiat account base currency, where applicable.
Always refer to the applicable Product Schedule and legal documents for the current product terms before trading.
