How do I place / modify / close trade orders via iPhone?

Placing a trade

1. Navigate to the ‘Quotes’ tab;

2. Tap on the instrument you want to trade;

3. Press ‘Trade.’

You will then be prompted to specify the volume and type of execution you would like. At this point, you can also add a Stop Loss or Take Profit, if you want to apply for one before you confirm the Buy or Sell order.

Types of Order

You are able to place Market Execution and Pending orders on your MetaTrader 4 iPhone app. However, you are unable to place a trailing stop using the MetaTrader 4 iPhone app.

How to open a chart

1. Navigate to the ‘Quotes’ tab

2. Tap on the instrument you want to analyze, and a new pop-up window will appear

3. Select ‘Chart’ and your requested chart will be opened

Modifying a trade

1. Navigate to the ‘Trade’ tab,

2. Click on the order you want to modify, then select ‘Modify.’

3. You will be prompted to input your Stop Loss or Take Profit details. Once these have been entered, press ‘Modify’

Viewing a Trade / Position

To view all open and pending trade positions, navigate to the ‘Trade’ tab:

• Open positions can be viewed in the ‘Positions’ section

• Pending positions can be viewed in the ‘Orders’ section

Closing a trade

1. Navigate to the ‘Trade’ tab,

2. Click on the order you want to close and select ‘Close.’

3. You will then be prompted to confirm the closure of the trade with the amount of your current profit or loss for the position. Press the ‘Close with Profit/Loss’ button to confirm.
